Product Description: The TheraBite® ActiveBand™ forms an addition to the TheraBite® Jaw Motion Rehabilitation System™ providing resistance to mouth closure. The device is designed to increase muscle strength and endurance of the muscles of mastication (the masseter -, temporalis -, medial – and lateral pterygoid muscles). The active exercise can be used for patients with compromised by cerebral lesions after a stroke or that has neuromuscular disorders. It can also serve as a supplement to passive motion exercises, e.g. for patients with Trismus.
